All I can say is wow Denali was fantastic and if you ever get a chance to go to Alaska to see it then do yourself a favour….. We got great views from the train down to Anchorage usually people don’t as the peak is up in the clouds  Rivers run very fast here Snow capped peaks What a nice surprise our train from Denali to Anchorage was a dome train so we got views all around Grizzly bear came up to the road in front of our bus on our wilderness tour doesn’t happen all the time at all Osprey nest They are big bears Nimble too More views of Denali  The resort McKinley part of holland America  Loved the souvenirs but would have to think how do I transport them home Caribou  The path to our accommodation at the resort The train Our balcony Enjoying a vino 10 pm at night land of the midnight sun Posing outside the train it was luxurious  Postcard shot We could go outside the carriage. Had lunch downstairs and it was lovely

Went to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Museum it was fantastic and they are doing up the bus for an exhibit from the book and movie into the wild Loved looking at the different types of seals one was a ringed seal  Saw a black bear and cub in the wild Caught the bus back here which is similar to Herberton historic village decided to have dinner here which was a good thing as the power went out at the hotel for the night about an hour after we got back. Colm was fast thinking and ran us a hot bath before it ran out so we had a good night with wine 😝 I haven’t tried these but everything seems to have peanut butter on it An outhouse with a difference ours were never this fancy growing up Lots of log cabins
